Disney Vacation Club Resorts are known by some people as home-away-from-home resorts because they are designed to provide guests with all the comforts of home. The rooms at the resorts are available to Vacation Club members and to the general public when available.
Our family has been a part of the Disney Vacation Club for over ten years now and I must confess that we love the extra space and the amenities that come with staying at any of these resorts. Once you have stayed in a spacious One-, Two-, or Three-Bedroom villas, it will be difficult to go back to the cramped confines of a regular hotel room.
We also like the added benefit of having the option to cook some of our meals if we so choose, but while I am on vacation, I don't really want to cook and clean so we basically keep breakfast and sandwich items stocked in the fridge but eat the bulk of our main meals out at some of our favorite restaurants.
Take a look at the individual Vacation Club Resorts and decide for yourself if you would be interested in staying at one on your next visit to Disney World. If you really like all that the Vacation Club has to offer, you can arrange for a tour of the properties and find out more information about becoming a Vacation Club member from the cast members working the front desk.
