Epcot World Showcase lets you travel around the world without the need of a passport. Eleven international pavilions surround a 40 acre Lagoon.
Experience the culture of each country with entertainment, merchandise and, of course, food. Some, if not all, of the countries have an attraction, informative movie or ride to further immerse you in the culture. Even the landscaping in the individual countries uses native plants and trees and flowers. In fact, you will see beautiful landscaping throughout Epcot.
So put on your walking shoes and take a leisurely stroll around the Lagoon to "travel" the world.
Even though most adults really like to walk around and soak up the atmosphere of each country, some children might be a little bored.
Make sure you give them a chance to participate in the Kidcot activities that are located in each of the different countries. These activities will keep them busy for a few minutes while you look around in some of the shops.
Some parents are afraid that their children will not like visiting the countries at Epcot World Showcase. Our children have always liked to visit (and eat)their way around the pavilions. Maybe theie opinions can help you plan your vacation. How? They have given their likes and dislikes for each country in the form of kid commentary which is represented by the character icons below. Be sure to check out what they have to say!
